itrvl Edge is your safari booking platform. It puts a curated library of expert-built, fully priced safari itineraries at your fingertips, so you can go from client brief to polished quote in minutes, not days. No safari expertise required. No starting from scratch.

Built for advisors who move fast

Safari is complex. Multi-country routing, camp availability windows, small-plane transfers, PAX configurations. The logistics alone can eat hours before you've touched pricing.

Edge removes that groundwork entirely. Every itinerary in the platform has already been designed, sequenced, and priced by safari experts. Your job is to find the right trip for your client and get a quote out the door. The platform handles the rest.

Start with the AI assistant

The fastest way into Edge is through the Safari AI Assistant. Just describe your client and let the AI do the matching.

Tell it what you know:

"I have a couple wanting to honeymoon and see the Big Five. Budget of $50,000. Want to know the best time to travel."

"Adventure seekers, two people, Zambia or Zimbabwe, extended trip, June, $30k per person."

The AI returns a shortlist of itineraries matched to your brief. Click into any of them to see the full detail and keep going from there.

Tip: The AI works best when you give it your client's vibe, not just logistics. Travel style, trip purpose (honeymoon, family, first-time safari), and budget all sharpen the results.

Already know what you're looking for? Use the filters

If your client has a destination locked in, the filter panel gets you to results faster. Filter by any combination of:

  • Destination: country or region (e.g. Botswana, Kenya, South Africa)

  • Travel dates: approximate travel window or month

  • Budget: per-person budget range

  • Trip length: number of nights

  • Travel style: adventure, honeymoon, family, first-time safari, and more

The library updates as you apply filters. From there, click into any itinerary to review the full detail before quoting.

Two types of itineraries

The Edge library contains two types of itineraries:

Agency itineraries Built by your agency in partnership with itrvl, around your preferred properties and client profile.

System-recommended itineraries Designed by Wilderness and available to every advisor on Edge. A strong starting point for any brief, from first-time safari clients to seasoned travelers looking for something new.

Both types are fully priced and include the correct transit, activities, and accommodation sequencing.

Everything you need to assess fit before you quote

Click into any itinerary and you'll find:

  • Description: Who this trip was built for, and what makes it the right match

  • Highlights: The standout experiences and selling points

  • Inclusions: What's covered in the price

  • Day-by-day: Full logistics: transfers, activities, accommodation sequence

  • Accommodation profiles: Property photos and descriptions for every stop

  • Best time to visit: Seasonal guidance to help you advise on timing

No back-and-forth with a supplier. No tab-switching. Everything you need to say "yes, this is the right trip" is right there.

Availability: two statuses to know

When you check availability for an itinerary, you'll see one of two statuses:

Live availability Accommodation availability is confirmed in real time. Select your dates and proceed immediately.

Requires manual check A Safari Specialist will follow up to confirm availability before you finalise the quote. You can still generate the quote and your Safari Specialist will be in touch.

How the full workflow fits together

Once you've found the right itinerary, the rest moves quickly:

  1. Select your client: find an existing profile or create a new one in seconds

  2. Set your travelers and dates: PAX count, child ages if relevant, preferred start date

  1. Generate the quote: Edge calculates price per person, total trip cost, your commission, and total sell price

  1. Share with your client: choose between a full priced quote or an example client link (great for gathering feedback before you're ready to share pricing)

Your commission is shown clearly at the quote stage. No manual margin work. Edge calculates it against the itinerary pricing automatically.
